Abstract - During recent years, producing electricity by wind turbines has increased. Different forms of new turbines connected to the network and the passive network and the production of scattered power systems are used. Consequences of drought reduced production last year and Hydropower, leading to the power plants was increased again, was the most electricity distribution companies through different methods to pay load shedding. Electricity production by the wind turbines can be very useful in peak hours, but the Conversely on this topic may also apply, when the peak hours, electricity is not effective and economic. Considering that wind power plants in Iran and Binalood, Manjil areas like other countries is entrusted to the private sector, produce an effective economic talk of peak hours is considered important. Various methods of storage on the electricity there. Method to compress the air in wind power new and important subjects which will be used today. This article reviews the methods used are paid at the time of peak

Combined Heat and Power-CHP

Combined production of electricity and heat energy saving method in which electricity and heat are produced simultaneously. Simultaneous production of heat from heating can order regional District heating) or in the process industries can be used

The two most common CHP system configurations are:

Gas turbine or engine with heat recovery unit

Steam boiler with steam turbine

Gas Turbine or Engine With Heat Recovery Unit

Gas turbine or reciprocating engine CHP systems generate electricity by burning fuel (natural gas or biogas) to generate electricity and then use a heat recovery unit to capture heat from the combustion system's exhaust stream. This heat is converted into useful thermal energy, usually in the form of steam or hot water. Gas turbines/engines are ideally suited for large industrial or commercial CHP applications requiring ample amounts of electricity and heat.

the 7th national energy congress

If God wills, following six successful biannual national energy congress, the 7th national energy congress with the slogan of " energy sustainability, security of supply, demand management and improvement of the pattern of consumption" is due to be held on 22 and 23 of Dec 2009, under the sponsorship of the ministry of petroleum and ministry of energy of I.R.Iran , in collaboration with other executive organizations, research and scientific institutions as well as universities, by I.R.Iran national energy committee.

The main objective of this congress is to elaborate more on importance of energy issues in Iran and the world, investigate about the challenges facing energy sector of the country. Finding out the real solution to the immediate problems and paving the way for a bright future for the country through interchange of idea and interaction views expressed by specialist, managers and executive dedicate to the prosperity of the country.

Based on such an objective, all interested scientists, university professors, researchers and experts are invited to send their findings related to the topics of interests of the congress in the frame of a technical paper to the secretariat of the congress. It is expected to receive papers related to the present and future problems which might arise and offer a real applicable solution to those problems. Distinguished paper will be suitably appreciated and get published in reputable journals such as quarterly journal of " Nashrieh-e-energy-e-Iran".

Solar Photovoltaic Power Generation

The Solar Cell system converts the inexhaustible energy of sunlight into electric energy, thereby saving fossil fuel resources.
Currently, electricity can be generated by means of solar cells at 120 to 130 W per square meter (25 deg.C ; 1,000 W/m2).  On-going technological advances are expected to further improve the power generation efficiency

Lighting Control/Daylighting

Indoor lighting is controlled according to the amount of daylight and presence of people.  Automatic lighting control, including turning lights off in window-side areas with sufficient daylight, or in vacant rooms, is an effective energy-saving measure.  Lighting control contributes to energy conservation in two ways: reduction in energy consumption for lighting, and reduction in air-conditioning loads caused by heat from lamps.
