Today, due to increasing energy demand, the development of urban construction is obvious. On the one hand, due to the heavy demand of consumers and increase production capacity, they need to increase their intake Demand. The growths in urban areas, electricity distribution companies are forced to increase the installed capacity to posts and distribution lines. Therefore, to increase the capacity of medium voltage overhead lines up to 20 kV voltage levels will be need to increase the conductor cross section. Most of the electricity distribution network in Iran is ASCR conductors. In order to increase the cross area, they need further mechanical calculations and changes based on end-of angles and equipment. This study compares the technical and economic capacity replacement ACSS conductors instead ASCR without changing the makeup line and just replace the conductor with higher capacity are paid. For this purpose, the MCAL software (Mechanical Calculations) made for the line mechanical calculations have been used

Power System Capacitors fills this void by providing the fundamentals, applications, protection issues, and system impacts for a broad spectrum of capacitor applications
engineering and the design and operation of electrical equipment, the book uses clear descriptions and logical presentation of data to explain electrical power and its applications. Each chapter is written by leading professionals and academics, and many sections conclude with a summary of key standards. The new edition is updated in line with recent advances in EMC, power quality and the structure and operation of power systems, making Newnes Electrical Power Engineer's Handbook an invaluable guide for today's electrical power engineer.
