Today, due to increasing energy demand, the development of urban construction is obvious. On the one hand, due to the heavy demand of consumers and increase production capacity, they need to increase their intake Demand. The growths in urban areas, electricity distribution companies are forced to increase the installed capacity to posts and distribution lines. Therefore, to increase the capacity of medium voltage overhead lines up to 20 kV voltage levels will be need to increase the conductor cross section. Most of the electricity distribution network in Iran is ASCR conductors. In order to increase the cross area, they need further mechanical calculations and changes based on end-of angles and equipment. This study compares the technical and economic capacity replacement ACSS conductors instead ASCR without changing the makeup line and just replace the conductor with higher capacity are paid. For this purpose, the MCAL software (Mechanical Calculations) made for the line mechanical calculations have been used

Examining the effect of TOU program on distribution transformators life time

Fatemeh mohammadi .S,  Shahram Moradi

This paper studies the effects of time of use program (TOU), which is one of the demand response programs in distribution systems. The objective used in this paper is to increase transformer life time as much as possible. To assess this program, a 250KVA transformer is assumed. At first the life time of the transformer is calculated based on the transformer actual load curve, then the optimal load curve taken from TOU is used to calculate the life time
